At the Endocrinology Department of the Small Animal Clinic in Merelbeke (UGent), you and your beloved pet will be in the good hands of Professor Sylvie Daminet and her team. The Endocrinology Department of the Small Animal Clinic in Merelbeke (UGent) occupies a unique position in the treatment of thyroid problems in dogs and cats: first and foremost, Professor Sylvie Daminet has conduted research into thyroid problems in dogs and cats for over 20 years. Even today she contributes significantly to further knowledge and improvement of the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases in dogs and cats.

In addition, the Small Animal Clinic in Merelbeke (UGent) is one of the few centers in Europe where a scintigraphic examination (important examination in thyroid disorders) of the thyroid gland in dogs and cats can be performed.
