Education
Tijmen comes from Goirle (the Netherlands). He completed his 'Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine' at the University of Antwerp with distinction, after which he graduated with great distinction for his 'Master in Veterinary Medicine' at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UGent). Subsequently, Tijmen successfully completed two consecutive 'internships' in the United Kingdom, more specifically in a referral clinic in Hampshire and in the Small Animal Clinic at the University of Edinburgh. Since September 2020, Tijmen has started a residency (specialization training) in Internal Medicine at the Small Animal Clinic, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Merelbeke (UGent). His mother language is Dutch and he speaks English fluently.
Leisure
In his spare time, Tijmen knows how to keep himself busy with all kinds of things. He likes a good book, gaming and spends a lot of time in the kitchen. In addition, he likes to travel with friends to visit cities or spend more time in nature.
